This is a Duncan distortion that the mailman gave me when we traded a bunch of stuff. I sent him a vibrator and a rubber dong and he sent me guitar stuff. At least mine was dishwasher safe…
anyway the tabs were wallowed out so I switched backplates from another pickup. It worked… getting 16.5 or so reading… many many men will be happy now….

Nice. My solution was to JB Weld another piece of metal onto the tab, drill and tap.

Can’t remember what it’s called but I tried to use this putty stuff I had. You tear it off and roll it around and stuff. It actually gets hot to the touch. Then you place it and shape it where and how you want. It sets up had. Then you can sand and shape it…and drill it. Stuff didn’t work for some reason. Probably old..
