Some decent songs on the new one and Nuno is playing amazingly as ever. Thought the production was a bit muddy and Gary's voice sounds a bit worn out to me.

Yup, went in expecting that level of horribleness, but ended up thinking I'd much rather listen to this than that. Still not great, but somehow they managed to just be lame without most of the usual irksome annoying vibes I usually get from their newer stuff and Cherone's antics.

Man that album production pisses me off. Rise had such an awesome solo but every time I put it on, no matter what streaming platform or quality it always sounded like it was buffering. I thought “did someone rip this album off limewire and upload it for them”. It might be up there with St. Anger for me.

Yes! Just like VH3. Cherone is the common denominator.

I think there are some great bones here and Cherone didn’t bug me like he normally does. Just lacking in execution. If they were going all keys, they still could have made it more dynamic with different synth tones. Had some good melodies. Could do without Nuno singing though.
I’d rather listen to this than horrible song about girls.

I feel almost exactly the same. I didnt hate the song, and there were parts i liked, but the vocals lost it

yes!! i thought this sounded just like something i heard recently but couldnt really pinpoint, i did check out Bjork for the first time maybe a month ago and played this song a few times.

i actually really enjoy the low key vibe of that album. stripped down and raw.

I like that album too, his tone is FAT.

Also I have to say, I found this new tune sort of cool in a throw back 80's madmax meets AHA sort of way. Solo rips. I will give it to them. Pretty sure the rest of the album won't be like that. EDIT: seeing that this is on the same album as their latest with all the great playing so whatever, this is cool and different. Thumbs up from me Extreme.
