Lets see your home audio stereo setups.

I wish I had a 1950s Philips amp like that. Smallest in the series is 1 kw. 3000 volts on the plates and el34s for preamp tubes.

The other ones in the series are 2, 5, 10 and 20 kw.

That's some serious hardware right there!

Does anyone have a Baron by Mesa? It's a Strategy 400 that was modded or converted for home audio use, I almost bought one many years ago but never had a chance to hear one in person.

I have 2 1959 Harmon Kardon Citation 1 tube preamps(9 tubes) that I fully rebuilt and used high end coupling caps. I left all of the Allen Bradleys. I have ten 1970's Braun LV-1020 triamp speakers.

It's nice too see this audio stuff here as we always talk guitars and gear and to see how your listening to music is a good and welcomed addition to the forum.

That's a serious listening room and a hell of a vinyl collection!

I like audio stuff. It's not a listening room it's my living room. I put on records on the turntables as soon I get home. Been buying records since a long time, before it was fashionable and expensive. Decades of buying makes a lot of records in the end. I bought a lot when it was cheap, 25 years ago. Noone wanted them at the time. I remember buying the whole Beatles discography in one fell swoop in pretty good shape for about $150.

Yeah, I agree its insane how much Vinyl is going for these days. I have about a 150 records and probably over 1000 cds. They just sound so much better than some compressed download.
