My new EBMM Axis arrived yesterday afternoon. I haven't owned one of these in quite a while. Had the EVH sig model about 12 years ago, and had to sell it. I've wanted another one since. So here we are...

Congrats & HNGD!

FWIW, EBMM became my fav guitar brand a few years ago, with the Kaizen 6 and Majesty 6. I still enjoy my other guitars (Ibanez and Jackson mostly), and few different guitars, but I've sold just about everything else.

Love the flame top! :2thumbsup:

I loved mine, I bought it new in 2001 and it was a great guitar but I grew to not like the 6150 Med/Jumbo frets and the 10" neck radius. I have always preferred 12" radius and 6100 jumbo frets but my Axis filled the need for a great main guitar when I needed one.

The QC on EBMM is second to none!

Congrats! It's a real beauty. Finishes like that are considered very desirable for guitar work in the neo-soul genre. Killing two birds with one stone, very clever SFW!

That thing is beautiful . So is all these . Honestly these might be the funniest guitars I’ve ever plaid . The necks feel so cool

Awesome guitars. I can never have enough of them.

1996. Early, post-EBMM EVH, production Axis.

I love the purple ones. I wish that was a standard color. One day...

Seeing a red flame top causes me to pine away for my old red Axis. I played the shit out of that guitar until I finally did a stupid trade. Have had quite a few since then, and always end up trading or selling them... they seem to be quite "movable." I've noticed that there is a consistency with them (at least the ones I've had) to know that I can always grab another and it will be just as good.

The Music Man I currently own is a Kaizen 6, which is really pretty cool, though I really wish it had a Floyd-type system.
