I have thought long and hard on this. As your neo soul chops kimg, it is incumbent upon me to name a successor, though fruitful as my watch was. While I had an uneventful yet peaceful, lengthy reign as phrase lord, all good things must come to an end.

We had submissions from stalwart @Dan Gleesak, mind melting licks from @Fusionbear, interesting use of notes from @Anonymouse and even something from someone new to this shit talking "my modal theory acumen is better than yours" game @DrewJD82. But I think I'm going to have to pass this week's crown to Anonymouse, even though he's a lick stealin' sumbitch.

Anonymouse, I beseech you to be honorable in your reign as the new neo soul chops kimg. Be fair to your aeolian adversaries. Be slow to anger to your phrygian foes. I know the Cm Pentatonic is the easy one, but maybe I needs to expand my horizons a widdle bits

I used a lot of licks based out of 7th arpeggios, I threw some Ab lydian in there and G mixolydian. Granted, I think that's the track I used those over. I am drinking some beer.
