At 1:57 marks still got it . Fuck yes !
Indeed, that was impressive. He's a great singer. Gus also rippin here. Clean playing. This only underlines how good Yngwie really was. That is probably one of his most iconic solos and it never gets old. I still say the big 3 are Hendrix - EVH- Malmsteen. Those guys changed the game for everyone.

Fantastic playing by Gus and Mark sang well. Cannot even imagine what it has been like to be a rock lead guitarist when Yngwie hit the scene 40+ years ago! He set the bar so fucking high, not forgetting his showmanship when playing all that stuff.

He was insane to watch. I saw him in 1983-1984. The bar was blown up!

I think that pic on the left could just be a terrible hair cut . You know how many times a person would tell me it would look to cut of bangs growing up . I’m like ya I want the old Ramones cut . lol jk though my mom had them cut my hair like that once. My friends down was crying tears of laughter at me . I walked out

Nah, I'm pretty sure that's not his natural hair. I've seen other pics from that time that made it more obvious, plus I distinctly remember an interview with Yngwie, where he was shit talking about Boals after kicking him out of his band, and one of the things he mentioned was him losing his hair.

I saw Gus with Ozzy 15 years ago. Zakk is my hero, but Gus played phenomenally and had a way of stepping back out of the way that Zakk just can't do.

There are some recent vids of Gus and Ronnie Romero doing Dio-era Rainbow tunes that are similarly impressive.

moshing through the aquanet haystacks and arm folders to get front row for the alcatrazz, rising force, and marching out tours, it was as good as it gets. he raged like a wild animal loaded to the gills with south american zoom dust and worked the crowd into a frenzy every time.

Sounds good!
I worked a show with Mark Boals in 2009 when he was with Royal Hunt. Nice guy. I have also worked with several other Yngwie band members and I can confirm that is a wig.
Also worked a gig in 2007with Gus G. Great player, but he was nervous as hell for whatever reason.
