The "C" carve is hand filling, but not stupid fat either. I call it like a '59 style carve. Kinda halfway between a fat neck and a slip taper is how I'd describe it. To me, pretty much an ideal carve. What is the neck like? Fat? Thin? 60's slim? Gibson's description of the neck carve and thickness leaves a lot to be desired.
