Ripped to Shreds are the gayest band known to mankind

The thing is, metal - ESPECIALLY extreme metal, like black metal, death metal, grindcore, funeral doom, etc etc etc

Is supposed to be where NOTHING is off limits. NOTHING is taboo. There's no limits in speech or creativity because that's what being extreme literally is.

Have you seen Cannibal Corpse and Mayhem album covers?

Who fucking cares if a band writes songs about slavery? Who even cares if they ARE nazis? I'm mixed and I fucking love Burzum man. Varg's a genius. I seriously do not give a fuck if he is a murderer and a NAWTZEE because the whole god damn point of extreme music is that there isn't supposed to be a way to color outside the lines.

Have you heard Blut Aus Nord "The Work Which Transforms God"? Those motherfuckers literally just make feedback noises and dissonance instead of playing guitar riffs for an entire goddamn black metal album.

These fucking faggots from berkley and san fran and portland culturally appropriated my genres the last few years, and now theyre trying to make their faggot shitlib rules about it, and i'm pissed

I don't want extreme metal to be worn like a skin suit, like happened to video games and movies

Amen

Here's some Agriculture just so everyone can feel safe and included, it's "ecstatic black metal" for the masses

I feel gayer for having watched that. This is what "cultural appropriation" actually looks like. Black metal is inherently elitist and individualistic.

I’m writing an article for Vice now.

“The Maxon 808: or, a dog whistle for white supremacists.”

It's seriously gotten to the point where when a local metal band plays, I wont even watch them if they use headless guitars. It's funny, there's basically an implicit divide between cool music and lame music just by gear :hys:
