This has been one of my bucket-list amps for a long time. It's a legendary amp. This one is all original (minus the 3-prong chord and a recap), and extremely clean for a 60 year old amp.

Crazy versatile, loud, and unbelievably responsive to different pickups, guitars, and the volume knob is like an overdrive pedal. What an amp!!!!

killer!
a 66 would be my bucket lister!

Absolutely sick. This clip has me questioning my life choices.
Yeah man. Cranking an old Bassman hits hard. There's a reason many of the best guitarists used one.
Duane Allman, Buddy Guy, SRV, Gibbons, Hendrix (voodoo chile), Mike Ness, Setzer, McCartney/Beatles, Cantrell, McCready, Cobain, Petty/Campbell, Felder (HFO tour), Brent Mason, Black Crowes, Stones...
Who knows how many albums.

Tweed, bf, sf...they're all good.
Check this Segeborn clip showing em in all their glory:

Segeborn again, just the bf, Killer Rock Tones:

He has a few more clips with different models. The Bassman always sounds damn good. But, loud af.
Shoot, I should sell a couple amps, grab one and a reactive load reamper.
I remember one day I was rehearsing with a band, and my Shiva popped a fuse. Plugged into my bass player's drip edge Bassman and hit it with a TS.
Promptly sold the Shiva and bought a Bassman. RCA tubes, brown turd caps n all. Should kept it!!!!

Vintage warmth and girth bro'.
Girth and punch. Not for the faint of heart.
They're barely working until you get to 2 on the volume dial. Then they're a LOUD, girthy clean. At 2! Not a bedroom amp. Up around 5 on the dial, like dialing a Marshall 1987 at noon, they're banging. Kind of loose and unruly. Hit that TS, or any middy od/eq, they tighten up and punch right thru the mix. Unwieldy beast, with tons of dynamics, that go clean to roaring with just your picking hand.
