OK when you said 8-track you reminded me of another.

This record has a lot of cool guitar parts. I had three* 8-tracks in our family van. Best of James Gang/Band of Gypsys/Grand Illusion. I can still tell you when they faded out, "kachunked", and faded back in.

yes, late '70s punk / '80s new wave is one of my fav genres...if you haven't found the YT channel 80zforever, it's worth a look. He collects obscure, indie, regional bands from around the world, it's a gold mine on top of the more successful bands of the genre.
