Not crazy expensive.Cheap or expensive?
It sounds great with the Boss Space Echo in the loop.Doesn't that preamp deserve crazy expensive tho?!

Since the early 90s I lost count how many SLO 100s I owned. How do You like the Soldano, Carl?
I use an eclipse or an eclipse and a 2290. I wouldn't recommend a 2290 to anyone at this point but an eclipse might be ok. They've got good analog and at least acceptable on most FX.

This preamp is what the SLO 100 should have morphed into through the decades that they never touched the original circuit.
Meaning, that by now the SLO 100 should have three separate channels, and each should have their own separate EQ.
That said, the preamp kicks all kinds of ass. I love it. I would never want an SLO head while I own this, there’s no way.
Yeah assuming it duplicates the rack unit (I've got no time on the pedal) it does delay, chorus, flanging, and tremolo all in stereo but no pitch shifting, reverb etc.The 2290p pedal is nice, but not really a multi-effect.
Yeah, I love the chorus on the 2290p. I like it better than the SDE-3000D for comparison.Yeah assuming it duplicates the rack unit (I've got no time on the pedal) it does delay, chorus, flanging, and tremolo all in stereo but no pitch shifting, reverb etc.
It's sort of half way between a multi-FX and a single effect unit. The delay and chorus are pretty world class though.
