I prefer the Pitchfactor because you can set exact cents settings rather than trying to dial it in by ear, the boss PS5 does go by 5 cent increments so 5 cents is a low as you can go but 10 cents is close to the 9 cents setting alot of people use. Eventide should have actually marked the dials with exact amounts of detune on the micro pitch pedal IMHO.

I wish you could set it exactly in the micropitch. Using the pc editor I was able to get close but had to do a little math ((127 increments/50 cents) *9) = 22.8. So I set the increments to 23. That was as close as I could get to the mythical 9 cents above and below settings. I went with the micropitch purely based on the size. It sounds great but without the app and some math it was not possible to get that setting exact.

x88->stereo fx==>>L to LXII / R to Boogie fx return

X88 IR is such a great piece of gear. I modded channel 2-super easy to do the "one wire mod" and easily reversed if you dont like it. Just takes a bit of gain out of channel 2 and doesn't impact the other channels.

Still dialing the X88 in. The Mesa clip had a bit more presence, so I tried to match that with the X88. That clip was just as soon as I hooked everything up.
