I have played the EH EL34 and JJ EL34 and E34L's. I found the low end attack to be a little softer and overall more compressed compared to my 6550's which the amp is running now. I want to try some EL34's or KT77's in it just to compare to see if I like them in this amp. I was reading around...

If you are looking specifically for Dime tones then I'd say for the price get one of those min Dime Warhead amps, they have the tone boosting with a tubescreamer or 6 band EQ you almost don't need the parametric.
