All I have is an old Super D, so I don’t have much of a frame of reference…but you’re saying they changed from full width allen poles to Allen head screws?! Any idea when that happened? I find that interesting because the Manlius Super D claims to be an exact copy and I thought it was a dead...

I have 2 “go-to” picks. Jazz III EJ Jazz III Tortex I don’t like the regular nylon because they are too slick and the tip isn’t as good. I also have some Petrucci picks but their slightly larger size I’m kind of hot/cold on.

I always favored the tremoverb to the regular rectos. They just seemed easier to dial in and the voicing with the extra (FX) seemed to make for something extra.
