Hagen has been my main amp for the last 12 years already. A beast of an amp, quite underrated IMHO. I'm also interested in that mod, if it can make my amp even better!

The Einstein has been discontinued for 10+ years now. Give a look at the classified on Audiofanzine, at least on the French side one or two pop up each year but don't stay long.

I've never had any particular issue with my Hagen, but it's the first in the chain, in a much simpler chain. My midi controller is a Disaster Area Design DMC-6 with an old Rocktron midi cable with 7 pins on 1 side and 5 pins and a 9V DC in on the other side. Then it's only Cordial midi cables...

I've used an SD-1 and a Maxon OD808 for quite some time, and they did pretty well. But a few months ago I've put a brand new GE-7 in the Hagen's loop and it's awesome. I get this tighter feeling but cutting way less bass. The new GE-7 are pretty silent, I have very mild settings on the pedal...

You should check the TMP's manual: if it can send Program Changes, it should be able to control the Herbert.

That's right, you'd need 16 Ohms speakers. However if I'm not mistaken the G12K-100 is 8 Ohms only.
