Crazy this is my #1 because I have guitars costing thousands more and got it n a trade. It is a 2013 LP Classic I thought was a Standard. I'm having fun beating it up, etc. It has Motor City 2nd Degree Blackbelts that Buckeyedog installed for me a few years ago. One day I'll have another #1. I love my Chubtone but probably will get a different bridge pickup instead of the JB and will be on fire.

An update. This is the same guitar years later, lol. Still my Number 1 and funny thing it has been thru three pickup changes and im ge5ting ready to put the 2nd Degree Blackbelt back in, lol:

Would guess their similarity to the Totenkopf as well as being mixed with a flecktarn paint scheme.

The "SS" inlays might also have something to do with it.

Pretty surprised to be saying this because an SG was my #1 for a long time, but for the last year or so a Strandberg Prog NX7 has been pretty much the only guitar I’m reaching for.

Recently put some Fishman Tim Hensons in it and am really enjoying them

I mostly rotate between 4 different single cut imports with EMGs all under $1500.

My #1 for 21 years otherwise has been this 2004 Highway One Strat with Alnico II's and an Air Zone in the bridge.

My LP will probably always be my #1, but I tend to play whatever's newest in the arsenal the most for a bit. Then I grab the Les Paul again.
