Why You Can't Beat Tube Amps

I think we are on the verge of either going full nuts digital (not just in amps, but in life), or going to appreciate artisans and their craft.

Digital is like Wal-Mart. It serves a purpose, but I don't desire to shop there.

Of all people to make the case for amps over modelers, the “I only use factory presets” guy probably ain’t the one to be the beacon.

It’s the equivalent of buying an amp, never turning the knobs and saying “I can’t get my tone out of this amp”

Lmao dont listen to what he says. He knows what he is doing, he just doesn't like talking gear unless he is ripped

There was an album or 2 (self recorded) that came out lately that would have 1000% sounded better with plugins than trying to record yourself at apartment volume with a tube amp and limited technology. The moral....get the label to give you a recording budget😂

so the consensus is we're going to see the return of rack gear?

:D

While I agree with sharvell dan the upside to processing your sound using only zeroes and ones is you don't need a handtruck for your amp.
