TL;DR: A GearTuber got offended when I told them they frowned a lot and to lighten up.


Welp. I did it. I hurt some Gear YouTubers feelings. Big time! Sensitive lot, huh?

Left a comment basically stating that a guy frowned all the time, even when they are talking, and to lighten up.

They took it as a super personal insult and are saying they feel sorry for me and stuff

Damn man, you think these guys would have thicker skin - especially with something that isn't even an insult.

Could you imagine dealing with that guy on a regular basis?

I even explained it wasn't an insult but they are not having it.

I imagine they are jumpy from having so many people constantly commenting but still.....

Anyone else surprised? No...??

Gear youtube is like a ouroboros where shittiest hobbyists create an audience so them and the gear companies can make money off the other hobbyists - it's honestly gross and probably most of the reason why music sucks a big fat donkey dick right now

I personally have BRF.

If I am focused, I kinda furrow my eyebrows. With my face structure and the way my brow is, apparently I look kinda mad.

I have tried to work on it a bit after people pointed it out.

I can't stop a lot of it, but at work, it makes it a lot easier if you look friendly instead of mad, so I do try.
