I e got a tone zone t in mine and it’s great. I thought about getting the chopper and just went for the tz and I’m happy I did.

Put KT 88’s in it and run an eq in the loop. For clean roll your vol on the guitar down some when you switch channels.

The way I see it is the sh5 is a hotter wound PAF with a ceramic magnet. I’ve used them for better part of 2 decades.

Duncan Custom in the bridge, a lil 59 in the neck or a Duncan YJM.

You can always adjust the pickups and try and see if it mitigates them issue. If it doesn’t then you can load it with what you want.

Then this summer I got a 79 standard in wine and it kills.

If your not set set on an exact LP style the Tremonti SE Custom is maple neck, mahogany body and maple top with a flame veneer. That’s what I went with chasing that type of tone.

Splawn,Bogner etc, will cover it too
