You can, if use a stereo power amplifier, like a rack unit, and your cab have 2 inputs (pre out -pedal - R/L power amp). Is still useful for chorus, but ping-pong delays not so much.
I tried one 2 yars ago (at my place beside other cabs). It had some bass reflex if i remember well (if remove the front grill), i think was a '90 model, but don't was very impressed with it. Sounded like a kind of plain GB, with mids forward, without the juice of Celestions.
I have it and swapped for other DiMarzios. I think it have a good output, more of the Norton, but is not modern and compressed like a TZ, or the SS or a Crunch Lab. The Transition, to me, is more a old school hot humbucker, more versatile then modern pickups.
