Have you thought about putting the AV75s in the 4x12 with the T75s but not connecting the Ts? Just for testing?
The Ts have a db rating of 97, pretty darn low. Almost any new speaker just about is going to swamp those out.
You may find 2 AV75s as loud as multiple T 75s and dig it.
All AV75s would not be a bad choice tbh..... you have everything you need from the sound spectrum. the highs and lows are extended but are very responsive and can always be reigned back. Mixing is a fun endeavor though.
The speaker sensitivity rating is what you want to look at when pairing 2...
The AV60s are heavily mid flavored and very tight. Very much focused onhigh mids - so I am uncertain if this will sit where you want in the spectrum, but will test it mixed in my 2x12 with a closed back.
I actually have another 2x12 cabinet with AV90s in it.
Let me run my AV75s together...
Your comment about the highs - right? It's quite amazing. Also, the bass end has nice extension as well but remains tight.
Clear meaty mids must be helping with that EVH feel.
Articulate is a great word to describe them.

Right?? I have an old buddy who has his first little Fender Tweed Champ about to arrive. I warned him it is going to be louder than he thinks for the sweet spot.
To be honest - if you can't FEEL most amps - you aren't playing them loud enough!
My same exact thought. The old cases I found are also worn in that the padding, what little there was, has shrunken up and you can see it would just be hitting wood.
Hello all,
A nice modern Fender branded mustang case in mint condition popped up on reverb for like $130 with free shipping last night.
I snagged it.
Thanks for all of the suggestions. Most definitely will be well packed and fully insured when I do ship/sell it.
Which type of Z file did you go with/have? They sell like 3 variants now.
Funnily enough, I am looking forward to using a file and manually trying it but have a feeling I will eventually invest in one of those Z files.
Many thanks!
From SM, I grabbed; 8 nut files (an assortment to cover most common electric guitar gauges), fret kisser, fret rocker, dead blow fret hammer, fret end file, triangle file for crowning, the little screwdriver set.... Feel like I am forgetting stuff but that's the majority from...
Yeah I needed a brass hammer, so that is on the way as well. I have done very light fret work and spot leveling but honestly have not had a guitar that has needed an entire level. I used a friend's tools in those previous instances. Will be nice to have some of my own. I will check out that YT...
