That's awesome !! This is all for fun and that's the coolest thing. I'm doing everything but singing, I put all some albums about 15 years ago where I sing and I just can't do it, my voice does not fit at all. I have 2 guys that depends on the song.
So a few months ago, I decided to get off my gear buying ass and start recording some music. I'm trying to release 1 song per month. So far so good, I'm 2 months in and have released 2 songs. I have the song below queued up to release on July 25 and working on another for late August release...
I bought the original pussy melter when it came but never played it. Sold it when someone offered $500, couldn’t resist. I have a KSR Power Amp on the way that I plan to use with these “amp and preamp” style pedals.
Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, Tom Anderson, PRS, Bareknuckle, EMG, Fishman and Caparison are all in various guitars at the moment...guess I'm a pickup slut.
I got the email last night that my name came up. I pulled through trigger and it shipped out today.
So for those curious, I got an email on March 21 to sign up (I signed up that day) and got an email on July 7 that an amp had my name on it if I wanted to buy it.
I don't think this means the...
I have a Mesa GEQ pedal and agree it shapes the sound different from other EQ’s, not sure why. I can get really close and sounding good with others but then when I switch back it always sounds better, could be in my head too.
Looks like a cool unit and would love to have a stereo version, but...
I've been on the prowl for an Ultra Uber for months and finally was able to pull the trigger. I had an Uber Rev Blue for about 12 -15 years, not sure exactly, but it was my favorite for a long time. But I sold it a couple years ago. I have been happy (and still am happy) with the Synergy Uber...
I run all my amps, computer, effects, etc… on UPS with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). I know it’s not as good as some higher priced units, they are consumer grade UPS’s, but it works.
They display the input and output voltage and keep it pretty steady. It also isolates the gear which helps...
There were only a couple of things I really wanted and got them. I’ve been spending more time writing and recording, goal is to release 1 new song each month. So far, 3 months in, so good.
I normally just ignore the OG comments with amps, bands and general comments that music sucks these days. People are welcome to their opinions but I believe newer amps are better, bands can get better and there are tons of new awesome music, you just have to do the work to find it, no different...
Agree. At home, 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz might be fine. But that is the only “public” free range to use, so Bluetooth, wireless home phones, just about everything consumer wireless use those bands. I can imagine a show where everyone has a cell phone with Bluetooth makes it harder to connect.
Another one for the Shure glxd 16, used on Reverb for around $450 and new around $550.
To be fair I just use it around the house, I like to move around and still play, it has good distance.
I really didn’t need it but I went down the rabbit hole and ended up saying fuckit and spent the extra...
