Their plug-ins are always interesting, and sound fantastic! I actually prefer them to the QC!

Options for locking a Floyd in place.

All my Floyded guitars are essentially hard tails, like I mentioned. The red springs really hold things in place pretty well with just 2 springs and the trem stop. Better tuning stability than a vintage trem that has been decked in my experience. Nice to still be able to fine tune and also to...

Options for locking a Floyd in place.

I have these in all my guitars. Work EXACTLY like you'd want them to. I use it with two of the red "noiseless" heavy duty springs. https://reverb.com/item/6131163-kgc-mega-stop-aluminum-tremolo-stopper-milled-aircraft-grade-not-bent

    Its been one year ...

I lost my dad coming up on 6 months ago now. The shit Wolfie has been put through is a goddam embarrassment, and people should be ashamed at the way they’ve been treating the kid. I’ve had a really tough past few months in still dealing with the grief of the loss of my dad…I can only imagine...

    Charvel Tuners

Just get the Hipshots with UMPs - I use them on ALL of my guitars, and have ZERO complaints. They’re awesome. I always get the locking ones. The UMPs are great too - no holes necessary, and they cover up the ones that are already there usually.

Why is setting up a Floyd Rose so hard for some people ?

Just echo’ing… 3 hours to set up a Floyd?!? Did you have to cast it as well? Usually takes about 20-30 minutes unless you’re intonating as well… Hard for some I guess. It used to mystify me, but then one day, it just clicked. Easy peezy…

QC: New update 1.0.2 as of 9/17

One thing I should add - this modeler really seems to have the “feel” of an amp. I noticed that right off the bat.

QC: New update 1.0.2 as of 9/17

I got mine on Saturday. This thing is stupid-easy to use! Not quite as refined as my FM3, but I’ll give it time, as I’m sure as I become more familiar, I’ll be able to find the sweet spots, and I’m thinking 3rd party IRs I typically use will make thing sound better “to my ears”… Might have to...

    Dimarzio PAF Pros

I’ve always liked them, particularly in an ash-bodied Pacifica 912J. Very much an early Sambora-ish tone

Chris Henderson, guitarist for 3 Doors Down, and I are not related...

First time I saw them (1999?) they were both using Line 6 Flextone rigs…blew my mind

I have a pair of GJ2’s I’m going to be selling soon…not exactly the same as the Friedman, but the pedigree is there.
