those 2 pickups are quite different from each other. The nailbomb has tons more low end and tons more output. I wouldn't suggest the nailbomb as a replacement in a Gibson les paul (where 498T's usually resident). It has to much low end, with the mahonie body/neck... it would be to much of a...
