Yeah man, I had zero issues with that amp. I had it running thru a Splawn 4x12 which is tuned pretty much only to Splawn amps. If I had it now, running on my Mesa OS 4x12 I bet it would sound a lot better. My kid has a 5150 combo, that thing is great too. What was wrong with yours? How did it...

I had a 6505+ and have an EVH. The 6505+ sounded like the one in the video pretty much. I didn't have the right cab for it either and it sounded great.

I would say either an old 5150 or an EVH5150III since they're allegedly based on the SLO.
