What kind of speakers do you use? The Duncan Custom Custom is supposedly good for fixing what you describe about the lead playing. JJ preamp tubes..?

It's just a couple of staples and some polyfill. It's cheaper and faster than swapping speakers :)

Yep. If I had little money, and needed to get a 2x12 that could handle both bass and guitar, I'd probably load it with 2 12" bass speakers. It's a tradeoff, but something like the Eminence Delta Pro A would probably work for both. Put two of those in a ported 2x12, like the TC Electronics BC...

They're UK made, actually. I would've thought they were MIC:) I agree with the Diezel being so refined sounding that they actually like a brash and bold speaker. Mine sit in a custom TT-cabs 2x12 built in Germany. And now they're both 8 ohms... :rawk:

No need to discuss it, I can hear the difference in players on a powerchord :) I don't need to have everyone agree with me. Hell, I hear differences in an A5 between my buddy and myself on an unplugged electric.
