Given the position of those screw holes i think schaller locking should go just fine...try to figure out peghole dimensions or you would end up drill them...
PS: every manufacturer has in depth dimension of their tuners on their websites
One of sexiest Suhr guitar i've seen so far!! Congrats! I really dig the choice of woods....pau ferro has something in the upper mids that reminds me of maple but nicier!!!
Set your amp to 8 ohm and you're gonna be just fine. Call the palmer guys when they're avaible to see if it can be modified to 8 ohm or at least how you can you verify its true impedence load. but as long as you set your amp with an impedence that's <16 you're ok
the only prick is the one who hacked sterling's account. No matter what he has said in the past, that is an act of a complete douchebag. It's violation of privacy and i think that there are some laws against it....so i can see no sterling's drama here.
i do like the sound of the R2 channel of my mark IV....it only requires volume and WEIRD settings....but it sounds crushing too! even without boosting it...
i have a rev blue, but i'm planning to mod it like yours...kt88 might be the right way to go for me...i want a little more tightness to the sound, and a little bit more hi-fi in the highs would appeal to me as well...
would you guys reccommend me the jj kt88 or just go with the winged c's??
for my taste it's either the dual rectifier or vh4/herbert/hagen. the other amps you mentioned are in a different ballpark (sonically) than the mark IV IMO.
i'm running my mark IV in stereo with a Bogner uberschall and i find it bery satisfying. It adds depth to the mark IV sound, while the mark IV bring the tightness. pretty happy with it. you should find yourself happy with a diezel too.
they're pretty similar, the clip with the kt88 sounded more tight, so i voted for it but i liked both for their intention. Did you tried different kt88 in your uber or just went to the winged C's? i'm wondering myself too to go and mod my rev blue for the kt88....but since they're pretty...
peavey wolfgang KOREAN model, it felt like it was made of plastic...shit sounding, shitty feeling....i couldn't help myself putting her for sale the same day it arrived home
peavey is cheap here too! yes we do have some upcharges but nothing over 10-20% max. ENGL quality is better than peavey, so it has its own market, and is NOT a lot more in the US...even with diezel! a used VH4 in USA it's like 2800$=1958€, in Europe is 1900-2000€....so no big deal or EXTREME...
