    Online amp demos

You'd still need limiter for that. There's only so much you can do with cranking mixer volume.

    Online amp demos

You'd need some limiting to hit CD level loudness.

    Online amp demos

Of course. A few years ago these youtube channels tend to do full mix demos and with EQ and processing, but people complain about that too. Now people complain about the can of bees when they do straight up playthroughs.

That's just the way it is when you simply stick a SM57 on the cab.

    Les Paul Refret Nibs Question

https://mrglyn.blogspot.com/2013/03/les-paul-79-refret-with-difference.html My local luthier got this idea of making a mockup neck with the same width and cut the frets on it before installing them onto the actual guitar.

What’s the tightest amp with the biggest low end you’ve played. ?

Aren’t most of that stuff solid state amps?

    NAD: Revv G20

I ordered it during their black friday sale but they didn't have enough supply of the green chassis so it took a while to ship. I usually don't bother with low wattage amps due to my dislike of EL84's. However this one has 6V6 so I decided to give it a shot. Obviously it still doesn't sound...

Classic Tone Going Out of Business

I wonder what Avi and Dave gonna tell people when they find the new transformer supplier. Are they going to be "exactly the same as the old ones" yet "sound better than the old ones" at the same time again? Haha.

Anyone here pick up the new Adam Jones signature Gibson?

Or wait for the price for 79-81 Silverbursts to come down again. Pretty sure no one's gonna buy them at $12k...

Anyone here pick up the new Adam Jones signature Gibson?

I guess when they charge $10k for a replica, the price of the original bound to go up. Glad that I picked one up last year but I’d rather play my ‘90 one TBH. I’m curious about the level of timber they’ll use this time though. Wondering if they gonna make them 10lb+ like the originals or they...

Do I sell my Wizard or take Boss to small claims court?

I love my Wizard/SLO100/2203 etc but never felt any desire to tame them for low volume use. When I need to play with headphones I just use tube preamps with IR loaders. Sound good enough and are much safer. With low/mid volume use I'd rather use amps with usable master volume sweeps than using...

Buffer pedal for a pedalboard rig set-up?

Your main tone-suck factor here is your long guitar cable, adding a buffer on the pedalboard won't change that.

Boost Question - Marshall Jubilee 2555

Do you have experience with the JHS Colour Box v2 by any chance? Been curious about it lately but a bit steep pricewise to do a blind buy. Didn’t find any clips of it boosting high gain amps.

^ Find yourself an older model with 2 different gain channels, these are great bang for the bucks.
