    Buffing a satin neck

I acquired a Jackson SL2 MAH through a trade a few weeks ago and the previous owner took some sand paper to the back of the neck and took off a very small amount of clear coat. Just enough to make it a satin feel. I really dislike it after playing it for a few weeks. What is the best way to buff...

Diezel mk2 external bias point NEED PICS

My MKI has external points and requires the use of a screw driver to adjust the bias. I've never seen a MKII with external bias points. The bias points and circuit are mounted on its own PCB board inside the chassis. The PCB bias circuit board upside down so taking a picture wouldn't do any good...

    Bare Knuckle

I have a set of BKP Warpigs in a guitar. Really awesome. It's my favorite sounding guitar right now. I bought them used for half price. Check the member classified page on this site if you decide to get some. -Alex

    Edwards LP question

You may be able to find metric pots but only the spline is metric on everyone I have seen so you will need to drill the hole larger anyways. If you do get a standard pot (which i totally recommend) be sure to order new knobs because the original knobs wont fit the new pots. -Alex

    Les Paul clones

I bought this LTD EC1000 FR a few weeks ago at the guitar shop my buddy works at. Picked it up to serve as a backup guitar. Took the stock emg's out as soon as I took it out of the box at home and replaced them with BKP Warpigs, all new pots, caps, coil tap, and put a brass big block on the...

    ISP Decimator...

I keep mine in the front of the amp because it likes to mess with my delay when I have the effect volume turned down. I only use it as an effect these days but I used to have it on all the time in my last band. They are so fucking great.

Do you absolutely need a loadbox for recording?

Some people don't like to be told they are wrong. Poor amp........... :(

Do you absolutely need a loadbox for recording?

without a load box you will ruin your output transformer along with a few other costly components. You should never turn your amp on without it being plugged into a speaker cab or dummy load that has the proper ohm rating.

Needs to be on main topic RT.... Has RT gone sideways?!?!?

I know what you mean Mo. This place has been really lame lately. FULL of whiny guitar players. Been feeling pretty negatively about this site for a while now....

Invader 2 unusable due to noise

Just replied to your other thread about this suggesting you change the tube to V1. Change all of the tubes out of it. Could have your treb or pres cranked too much :dunno:

    Engl invader 2 noise

Pre-amp tubes could have gone bad in shipping or just went bad on their own (totally happens for no apparent reason sometimes) Switch them out. V1 is probably microphonic.
