I'm partial to the 3+se. I use it with a matrix power amp and it is terrific. Suhr likes a Mesa 2:90 with it and he designed the thing so that opinion is worth something. Vht/fryette 2902 is very good with it too. The vht 2502 is a very good power amp, but not the best fit with this preamp...

You can change the arm on any FR for a push in arm and they have a little set screw to adjust the swing. It's a great system and its only about 12 bucks and easy to swap yourself.

Boss gt8, 10 or 100 in 4cm will be affordable and not only do everything well but sound good too. They're very underrated.

Look at a current production import pacer. It's unbelievable how good of a guitar it is for the money.

I have a nova repeater and it sounds very good with a fair amount of useful options. The best part is that it handles line level and instrument level both well.

Do you buy direct from them or are there dealers. What do they cost? That guitar in black is exactly what I'd like for my next slab.
