You're not the only one! I went through exactly the same thing. I've had my '76 JMP for quite some time and even after having some mods done by Trace at Voodoo Amps I rarely used it live....all the time thinking I really needed a channel switcher. Part of reason for this thought process was that...
This is the coolest project and thread ever!! Everything looks amazing!! You know you're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when gear starts appearing in photos.
+1
I keep mine on my board as a backup to my JMP in the event something happens. I can run it into an EHX 44 magnum and get pretty close....at least close enough to gig with for what I need.
I don't think he has a website anymore. I did a quick search and came up with nothing. He was a member here and maybe still is and perhaps will respond to a PM.
I go mine from Casey Hanson (Fall-Out Labs). Great product t a great price and Casey was a pleasure to deal with. Not sure if he is still making them or not.
I have a Dimarzio 36th PAF in the neck of my Agile LP. The bridge pup used to be an Aldrich and is now a Super D. The 36 neck pup sounds great. I really like it combined with the bridge pup. Very smooth sounding and clear.
Awesome! Thanx for jumping back in the thread and continuing the updates. I know I'm preaching to the choir but I can't wait to see the finished product!
I was just thinking the same thing the other day. Went looking for the thread again to see if I missed something as well. I hope the project didn't stall. Would love to see the finished product.
Maybe I'm in the minority and maybe not but for what it was and meant to be I really enjoyed it! How often does someone get to jam with their idol. I'm sure KH wasn't too overly concerned about what he was doing precisely. Just the look on his face was enough..............he was enjoying...
I know! I should just pull the trigger already! For as much crap as I've bought I could have got my hands on one twice over already. I agree completely......for the price it seems hard to beat.
