I agree with people saying that this tone sounds very much like his other tones (out of other amps). It is a great tone, very gainy. I think that his Blackouts make that tone more than anything else.

That is because the asshats that voted don't know good tone for shit. Quite frankly the MM was obviously warmer and thicker.. did not have as much midscoop as HCAF wanted.. so yeah. That whole thing was stupid. If you posted the same clips here I would wager that the outcome would be totally...

Well.. I think the clean tones were really flat and lifeless. Just nothing inspiring for me. Im sure in a band mix it would be a bit better but not my taste. The OD tones were REALLY dark, like to the point where I would consider them muddy. To give you some perspective I like my OD tones...

Ah, well I didn't hear much differences. The Dr-Z's clean tones were slightly less flat and lifeless than the other 2 amps but uh, man I didn't like those tones. Good thing you get along with those amps.. I would not.

Thats too bad. Nearly 4 grand is about 3000 more than my Voodoo modded Marshall. Ah well, sounds good but I can't afford it.

I have many knobs that I twirl (lol) but by far the best knob is the treble knob on my booster pedal. I set it to a small boost over stock pickup tone but then I crank the treble to like +10db. Makes my Marshall sound wicked good. All the tone tweaking I have tried pales in comparison to...

The other grail type OD for Marshalls is the TC Electronic Booster/Line Driver. Mine is UNREAL with my 2204. Everyone that has tried it says it rules hard.
