I have both the BE 100 and the SS 100, I feel that the ss100 needs to be at a certain volume to get all of the great dynamics, (3 or higher) which is great. Both are great but the BE100 is better at bedroom volumes.
UPS is the worst, I shipped my Gibson les paul custom for a trade deal and they broke the headstock and refused to pay anything on the insurance just because it was not packed by them. even made me pay for the return shipping.
I own one along with a black friedman cab, its pretty much the same as all of the friedman cabs, no real difference but they are some of the best cabs on the market right now. I much prefer them over my EVH cab.
I didnt like the look of them, talked all kinds of crap about thier looks, and price. Then I played one, and it was over. I had to have one. Now I want another. i have had gibson historics, and EVH usa, fender custom shop and luxxtone, and nothing plays and sustains like a Knaggs. the thing...
Ive owned all 3, The necks are very different. my fav is the ernie ball. all are great guitars and very similar rock machines. you can find an USA evh for around 1700-2k, a peavey 1000-1500 and the ernie ball axis for around 1100. an evh ernie ball is a bit more, around 2k. The ernie ball...
Last week I had a chance to play one of their tele's for the first time, a friend of mine who is a sponsored artist of theirs much preferred it over her suhr modern. She sold the modern and kept the tele. It was a very different sounding telecaster, it didn't have that bright spank that I...
If it were my cash I would get a LUXXTONE, made by the top guy at charvel and you can have it totally custom, even the art work on it. Nothing plays like my luxxtone, not even my knaggs.
I have both and they are similar and yet very different. The SS is darker, fatter, and a fuller more pushed plexi sort of sound, where the BE is a mid heavy modern modded marshall sound. I prefer the SS clean channel, but both are good. The BE is better at lower volumes, like apartment low...
yes, I am getting a dry signal in the center cab, I am using speaker cables from the cabs to the amps and instrument cables from the line out, to the delay to the power amplifier. should I use a speaker cable from the line out?
I tried both pedals alone and nothing. I was at freedman's shop yesterday and he seemed pretty certain the hardwire would work without a mixer. any other ideas?
hello all, I have 3 4x12 cabs, and a digitech Hardwire delay pedal, a tc electronic hall of fame reverb, 1 friedman ss100 head, and a carvin dcm1000 solid state amplifier. Will the carvin work for this application? I cannot get this to work. I run the line out of the head to the delay and the...
jerry bizon, master luthier for luxxtone & charvel, he does repairs and is the only one I would take to do any work on my guitar!!! his fret work is amazing!!

there is a big difference between youtube videos and playing the guitar at gig volume. I can even get my ss-100 to get nasty when I crank the gain and presence and volume.
