Thanks dude :rock: 2012 VH4 Lead Channel is fantastic. Last song I did was 6505 for leads/VH4 for rhythm. They wanted something a little more aggressive for rhythms, so 6505 it was. This amp is an all around winner, I promise ;)

I use a boost on everything aside from cleans and the occasional crunch tone. Thanks for your kind words guys. Kyle is a great player and songwriter, so he made my job easy \m/

Amazing tones can be had with a cheap mic preamp/converter such as an MBOX. I've heard great tones made with a Presonus Firebox. mjtripper is dead on. Play with mic placement, and be aware of the relativity of your tone to the things around it.

I really can't get over the Mesa Standard 412. I've owned so many cabinets, and it's still my favorite.

So far I've really enjoyed the following speaker blends: Freyette P50E/Celestion V30 Celestion V30/Celestion T75 Celestion V30/Celestion K100 What speaker blends does everyone else around here do in their cabinets? Cheers, Greg

Why the sad face on the quote? I thought you got a kick out of that one. I play Baritone 6 strings and regular 6 strings, so I have nothing against lower tunings ;)

Another vote for the TC HOF here.

Rear-loaded Diezel Cab is the answer IMO. Also, I apologize, because I own the cab that you missed out on that was at Brad's :lol: :LOL: The Diezel VH4 cooperates with Greenbacks as well, surprisingly, despite being such a chunk-machine.

A Small Block is supposed to be modeled after a Scumback M25 last I heard, so yes, some sort of a Greenback. I don't like ANYTHING Eminence makes, so I would say a Celestion variant, especially something without those Pre-Rola mids should do the job.

I don't like V30s in Splawn cabinets. I believe they are a very poor match. IMO, Greenbacks sound better in there (Chinese variants).

Yes. That's what I know. I own two quads, and they rule.

I feel like the 820 is a bit juicer and helps alleviate the stiffness of the Rectos.
