My only gripe is that for me being left handed the grub screw is difficult to get to it would be great to have a lefty version.

I think so I've had many Marshalls over the years and the Wizard I have has its own thing going on.

I'm not sure what year my 50 watt modern classic does anyone here know where to look? it does pop I would love to get this fixed and or possibly upgraded

I agree with the rest on the Fryette Power Station I have one and have tried various attenuation devices. I did the load and slaving method for a while but hands down the Power Station rules the weight of the unit shouldn't be an issue because the trade off is a valued reward in tone, I did...

Get a fryette power station and be done with loops on your amps.

Variac on - off switch – back panel (50W model only) With the Variac engaged, the power is reduced from 50 to 32 watts. It is a softer feel with slightly less volume. The power amp saturates earlier and you might want to back off the volume a bit in order to have same the gain at a lower volume.
