    Friedman Runt 50

To me, the Runt sounds less organic & cheaper sounding than the other Friedman amps, for what it's worth. It just doesn't sound that great to me. I'd go for a Dirty Shirley or a BE any day over the Runt.

    Aristides 060

I'm looking into getting an Aristides 060 w/ Bareknuckle PUs & a Floyd. I've never seen or played one in real life & was wondering if anyone here owns or has played one.

    Friedman BE OD vs BE100

You can't compare a pedal to a 100 watt amp on 10. However, the pedal will get you pretty close to the BE sound, & imo, is the greatest hot rod plexi pedals ever made in the world & elsewhere.

Technically, you could own a 59 Les Paul & a 54 Strat & be over a million right there.

It's gotta be a '68. You'd think there'd be a lot of those around as that is he infamous Hendrix year, but nope.

I've been looking for a '68 Strat with all original parts for years to no avail. Saw a few counterfeits & a few with too many newer parts, but nothing original. You'd think Norman's Rare Guitars would be able to source one, but nope.

This is such a sobering thread. I never really think of my gear as a whole, but as individual pieces, so I had to sit down & make an actual list of all the guitar, amps & pedals. Well, I have almost 50 guitars with an average price tag of at least $2500 each, countless pedals, AXE8 & 5 amps...

The friedman question everyone is thinking?

This pedal sounds more like a real amp than any pedal in the history of pedals. I can't get over how real it sound & feels. I have no idea how Dave was able to do what no other company could do, but it's game over for all other hot rod plexi pedals.

No one is denying that Ace is a rock star, rock god, rock soldier etc. They're denying the fact that he may not be very good at playing that them there guitar. But hey, he's the best damn Ace Frehley out there.

    Ace Frehley on Noisey....

Yes, he absolutely unequivocally in every way imaginable proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't need to be a stellar guitar player to be ONE OF THE BIGGEST GODDAMN ROCK STARS IN THE WORLD.

    Ace Frehley on Noisey....

Hey, then why do you have a juice box in your Dukes of Hazard lunch box.

    Ace Frehley on Noisey....

Yes, I think Ace's guitar demographic was mostly 2nd graders ;)

    Ace Frehley on Noisey....

Very true. Ace is much more Rock n' Roll than Vai. In the same way Johnny Thunders is more Rock n' Roll than Satriani.
