I have been playing 46 years.... It averages out to about two dollars a day I spent on gear. Not to mention my gear is worth a lot more than I paid for it.
Any 59 Les Pauls or 54 Strats?

Number would be a lot higher if I did. I did own a early 50's LP Gold Top a long time ago. I do have a few Fenders from the 60"s.

I've been looking for a '68 Strat with all original parts for years to no avail.

Saw a few counterfeits & a few with too many newer parts, but nothing original.

You'd think Norman's Rare Guitars would be able to source one, but nope.

I have a 69' I picked up in 78'. Not for sale.

It's gotta be a '68.

You'd think there'd be a lot of those around as that is he infamous Hendrix year, but nope.

I don't even want to think about it. ;)

But I sold a lot from my old rigs to get the Axe Fx II instead but that was almost a break even swap...

This thread made me think how much I got in my current gear... surprised it amounted up to roughly $4000. And the most expensive piece of gear I have is the toaster model Kemper. Go figure LOL :D

Gonna say about $35k. That's guessing at around $21k worth of guitars and I have 21 guitars but don't have any real expensive guitars so just going on the low estimate side at around $1k each guitar and the rest in gear. Man, hope my wife doesn't see this.

Too much that it sickens me. I bet there are a few on here reaching close to a million dollars.

I'd love for these people to speak up & give us a list or pics.

Technically, you could own a 59 Les Paul & a 54 Strat & be over a million right there.

Why, have you been talking to my wife?!? What did she say? WHAT DID YOU TELL HER????!!!?!?!?!?! :gethim: :gethim:

:D

A lot, but I'm a dealer now so it doesn't count. Or at least that's what I tell myself.
