It's a Kahler Steeler that Tom Anderson retrofitted for a Floyd arm. It's a mod they used to offer (not sure if they still do).
Tom told me that they used the standard Floyd arm back then -- but today there seems to be a few different varieties.
This looks like it could the one. This should be the original style, but with the allen wrench on the end.

Thanks but I'm not looking to change the guitar. Plus, it's already routed for the recessed Kahler Steeler, which I prefer over the OFR anyway.
Just need the arm!
I did (as mentioned in my post). He said they used the standard Floyd Rose arm 'of the day' which was 1993. That didn't really clear it up for me, so I posted the question here.
I lost my tremolo arm for my Tom Anderson Drop Top, and bought a replacement, but it's sitting way too high when I drop the bar in. It has a little black spacer as shown in this photo. ..
I think I need one more like this -- my old bar didn't have that black spacer thing. Tom Anderson...
Can the height of the tremolo bar be adjusted?? I just got a replacement far for the one I lost and it sits a lot higher than my old one. This new one seems to have a little thing under the screw-collar. I think my old one didn't have that and dropped in deeper.
I absolutely LOVE the Chandler Echo. I also like the SDE3000.
Boss DD2 is next for me to try though.
I bought the DD500 and I'm not sure if it's going to be a keeper yet.
The one I'm looking at is the Wampler Ego Compressor and the Suhr Koji. I know Justin Derrico uses the Wampler Ego for both clean and dirty tones, and Andy Wood uses the Suhr, mainly on clean, but sometimes mid-gain tones.
Both have a dry-thru mix, which seems to be important, especially if...
Sometimes I just want a hair more sustain on my tones, especially when I roll back my volume to clean up. Will a compressor do the trick without changing things too much?
Is there one that works great when it's on all the time (both OD tones and clean tones)?
I like the JB. Keep in mind a lot of guys who talk about 'magic' JBs are talking about the old JBJ pickup. . .it was a JB that was wound by a certain worker at Seymour Duncan. I think her name was Juanita (hence the second "J" in JBJ).
I need a roadcase for my Fender Vibrolux Reverb. It doesn't need to be bulletproof, but something decent, on wheels. Best price I've found so far is $245.
Suggestions?
I'm looking at the reviews of the DD500 and it appears that you are able to use TWO presets at a time. If this is the case, I guess you could select the Vintage Digital (SDE3000) mode and set a couple presets to a short and long delay and have them both on at the same time to get that layered...
