Floyd Rose bar height??

Can the height of the tremolo bar be adjusted?? I just got a replacement far for the one I lost and it sits a lot higher than my old one. This new one seems to have a little thing under the screw-collar. I think my old one didn't have that and dropped in deeper.

Is it some sort of plastic bushing? I've never seen this but it's probably removable. See if you can get it loose without breaking it, or see if you can live with the height difference as is.
