I have a korina Vector as well and they are indeed top shelf. The body on mine does seem a little thicker than other V's I've owned and played. I'm not sure if that's a '58 thing or a Vector thing, though.

I could be wrong, but I think it is. It's the thick saturation and character of mids that sounds like it to me. You can do some gnarly stuff to the mids with the eq on that pedal.

The pickups do have some top end. What you're likely hearing is the hair switch, though. I had that on (not sure if it's in the highest position or not). I was also running the bass and presence relatively high too.
