I'm still not comfortable alternate each way. I can go up fine, down I feel like I'm running in clown shoes, lol. I find arps are very hard to incorporate tastefully, and there aren't a lot of guitarists I really like using them. Loomis and Marty are a couple that come to mind, but it's not easy...
