In 2000, My First Rig was a BC Rich Bronze Series Warlock with the matching 10 watt amp and a DOD Death Metal Distortion pedal hahahaha. I wanted to be Mick Thompson sooo bad back then lol. I also had my moms first electric which was a Zimm Garr strat copy and an Applause Acoustic from back in...

I actually wanna get a decimator too. I wanna try sandwiching the tubescreamer between 2 gates (i saw Periphery do that in a video and it sounded soooo tight for the stocatto "djenty" stuff) Ill have to check my settings tomorrow for you my stuff is at my drummers for rehersal, I use the Vetta...
Hell yeah man I run simple too. wah-volume-tuner-tubescreamer-NS2- 5150- Diezel Cab!!! Keep it simple man Im sure the tone is killer!!
Congratz on a killer deal... I bought mine for $ 45 but it was most definately USED lol
I dig them a lot I remember hearing "You" for the first time and it was one of those moments where you can't help but pay attention to them and nothing else. Doesn't happen too often....
  No judgement I def understand
Original Band Rig =
Peavey 5150
Diezel 4x12 (X Pattern WGS BL80 and Retro 30)
Cover Band/bedroom Rig =
Line 6 Vetta Combo (All in one don't judge me either lol)
Thank you  If the only sound you want is a Herbert then the choice is clear... if you want tons of options and portability then the Axe is king.
I snagged the combo for $350 w/ the floorboard. I'm diggin it... its got a lot of amp sounds built in, its easy to program, and Im using it for bedroom practice and for a cover band.
Thats probobly what the acoustic guitar players said about the tube amp when it first came out.
I think Periphery and Scale the Summit (to name a couple) sound pretty amazing running the Axe in the studio and live. Where you see a souless computer, I see a magical box with an unbeleivable...
Awesome thanks man!!! Im new to the processors game but I'm digging it so far. lots of options. Can I use Line6 Edit on the Vetta? cause only the Vetta II is listed
I'd say get both because those are the 2 things I've wanted since I joined this forum.
Personally I'd go for the Axe FX if you're looking for an all in one machine. get a nice power amp and a GCP and you're set. Theres very little you can't do with that magic box...including sounding like...
I've talked to doug too.. I was gonna order a 4x12 from him, but then a crazy deal on a Diezel cab came up and I couldn't walk away. However I will say - "Next Cab=Whitebox!" Doug is a great guy and from looking at the specs and the prices his stuff is top notch.
so last night it worked fine... who knows?!?!?! Theres no usb connection on the amp I wonder how Im supposed to connect it to the comp for using the line 6 edit? Midi i guess?
I asked that too and got no answer lol... they legit say voltage regulator... the pic he had up was a box that plugs in the wall and has outlets to plug ur shit into. i dunno if theres a difference
