Made in Michigan. Mine was Walnut with a spanish cedar core, so the spanish cedar was sandwiched between two pieces of Walnut. Sounds great compared to Mahogany, real similar. But different, it has a maple neck so it's a little different, more "open" sounding.
I had one but with dot inlays, very cool guitars and it played and sounded great. Wish I could play T.O.M. guitars as precisely as I play trem and fender hardtail style guitars.
I've never owned either, but played them both side by side, I thought the Dragon was a little more subdued gain wise than the Cobra. I actually liked it more. I like Mark III boogies and the Dragon seemed a little similar to the MKIII's lead channel. The Cobra has more gain than I think anyone...
Not the reverb model, but the K-2? Higher gain than the original K-100? I had an original Knucklehead and the lead channel sounded like a JCM 800 to me, really needed a boost in front...
