Has anyone compared the Torpedo Live to the Power Station, for silent recording/load box purposes?

I had an excellent experience with Fryette. It was a pretty simple issue, but they handled it incredibly professionally, and when I offered to cover shipping they told me not to worry about it.

I'm the second owner of it. The original owner bought it recently, used it once, and sold it (no idea why, didn't ask - I just jumped on the deal since it was a sweet price). They have 100% feedback and have been very communicative, they claim they never opened it - who knows how the screws got...

Yup, I've gotten every screw out....... except for two which are hideously stripped. :doh: Going to try the rubberband method later today... hope that works. Very annoying.

Borrowing a friend's Blackstar Fly 3 watt mini amp. It's really pretty good actually. With a TS9 front, I may prefer it to my MicroCube, and that's saying a lot, I love my Cube.

Just had one delivered.... one of the power tubes came out of its socket. Anyone know how to open this thing up? I unscrewed the two screws near the tubes, wasn't enough. Do I have to fully unscrew everything to get in?

I played a Blackstar Metal head (I think that's what it was called?) at a gig a few weeks ago, I had brought a 2000's Dual Recto because my main head is being worked on. The Blackstar smashed the DR, so I used it for the gig. Would love to play one again. It even sounded good through the 70/80...

Hm, okay. Guess I'll keep looking then. Is the MIM stuff any good, or should it be avoided?
