My friend Bobby wanted me to play leads for one of his songs. He wanted cacophony type shred stuff and I wasn't feeling it so, this is what I came up with in the studio (if you don't like the tune skip to 2:37):

Amp was my Ecstasy. Guitar was a 1968 RI (shown in vid). Cab was a...
I have a stock 101B. It has a great crunch tone and the lows mids and highs easily dialed in to taste. The one you're talking about doesn't sound like its sorted as the others are saying in this thread.
Pretty sure there were more than 300 made (the green floral one is the really rare one). I personally saw about 10 of the blue ones for sale at the two Sam Ash stores in my area alone during the 1st year or two, when I first started playing (I wanted one but ended up with an RG750 instead as I...
Shipped it out yesterday to its new owner. It is a great sounding head but, I am keeping my VHT Ultra-Lead 120 and my Bogner Ecstasy 101B as far as high gain heads go.
In my best Obi-Wan Kenobi voice: It's up for sale if you want it.
Great head. Second one I've owned. I've had my VHT U-L for 7 years now so it wins over the ENGL in the last one in, first one out method I'm using to pick some of these for sale. When I got one again and plugged it in, I had a...
I like it very much but, yes, I think I'm selling it. I am not a studio, so keeping all of these is insane and I still have another two heads and 4 more cabinets (2x12 & 1x12) not pictured.it is a matter of practicality. If my home was 5,000+ square feet, it wouldn't matter and I'd keep most if...
I had both at the same time a while back and where as I liked the Sig:X, I liked my U-L more. You can get 60/70 percent of a U-L tone with a Sig:X but, they're pretty different (as they should be for bring different models).
Another thing, I used to go around saying the perfect amp would be a...
My go to 2x12 is a Mesa 3/4 Back 2X12. They sound better as you turn them up, I guess because of the tuning of the cab. I have two of them and don't miss a 4x12 when I use just one of the Mesa's. More pluses is that they are compact and light in weight.
The one I kept (I had a verticle OS 2X12 as well) is neutral sounding but, that is because of what it loaded with (Weber Silver Bells). I've always thought they sound good and big. The other one I had was loaded with WGS Veteran 30's and it was more higher mids rock. I had other cabs that do...
Danyeo bought one of my Bogner cabs today and graciously helped me bring my Road King cab down a narrow flight of stairs.
Keeping the Ultra-Lead 120, DV Mark 4X12, EVH 5150 III, Bogner Ecstasy 101B and Port City OS 2X12 for sure. The rest is up for grabs.
Well... It is a twin of sorts but, no, it a veritech fighter in battloid mode from Robotech: the Macross Saga. Jetfire/Skyfire happens to be a mecha that is exactly the same though.
