So I got all my head/rack setups out of mothballs and played through everything today. I am selling half my gear so what better way to decide than all in one shot

Wow! Your neighbours must fantasise about killing you. :)

Is that Jetfire as your avatar btw?

Well... It is a twin of sorts but, no, it a veritech fighter in battloid mode from Robotech: the Macross Saga. Jetfire/Skyfire happens to be a mecha that is exactly the same though.

Interesting to see what you keep

Danyeo bought one of my Bogner cabs today and graciously helped me bring my Road King cab down a narrow flight of stairs.

Keeping the Ultra-Lead 120, DV Mark 4X12, EVH 5150 III, Bogner Ecstasy 101B and Port City OS 2X12 for sure. The rest is up for grabs.

So worthy.

For the record, these pics made me wanna rub one out just lookin' at 'em :D

Slight detour, the Port City 2x12... Vent along the bottom? I remember a mad bit of love for them a few years back. Not so much lately. You are keeping it so that says something.

What sort of mojo does it have? Higher mids rock, scoopy goodness metal, neutral?

Oh, and anyone to help move a cab thru a tight stairwell is a friend indeed...

The one I kept (I had a verticle OS 2X12 as well) is neutral sounding but, that is because of what it loaded with (Weber Silver Bells). I've always thought they sound good and big. The other one I had was loaded with WGS Veteran 30's and it was more higher mids rock. I had other cabs that do that (as you can see  from the above pics), so I kept the one that sounded different from the rest of my cabs. Build quality is rock solid. Projection is great. I'd have no problems gigging with it instead of a 4X12.

Finally going to use that "storage room" for something other than gear hoarding?

:D :D :D

You sir a have a mini guitar center!!!!can I go to your home and try some of those amps and drive you crazy with my shitty riffs? :D :D :D
