for my taste it's either the dual rectifier or vh4/herbert/hagen. the other amps you mentioned are in a different ballpark (sonically) than the mark IV IMO.
i'm running my mark IV in stereo with a Bogner uberschall and i find it bery satisfying. It adds depth to the mark IV sound, while the mark IV bring the tightness. pretty happy with it. you should find yourself happy with a diezel too.
they're pretty similar, the clip with the kt88 sounded more tight, so i voted for it but i liked both for their intention. Did you tried different kt88 in your uber or just went to the winged C's? i'm wondering myself too to go and mod my rev blue for the kt88....but since they're pretty...
peavey wolfgang KOREAN model, it felt like it was made of plastic...shit sounding, shitty feeling....i couldn't help myself putting her for sale the same day it arrived home
peavey is cheap here too! yes we do have some upcharges but nothing over 10-20% max. ENGL quality is better than peavey, so it has its own market, and is NOT a lot more in the US...even with diezel! a used VH4 in USA it's like 2800$=1958€, in Europe is 1900-2000€....so no big deal or EXTREME...
if you have enough space you could just buy a lehle splitter after the A output to mute it when you need it ;)
in this way you could even add a third selectable amp!
i contacted him some days ago to ask the same thing. here's what he said to me:
"Basically, the mod makes the phase invert switch at the same time as the A output. So, you still have A and B outputs, but when you switch the A output, the B output changes phase. This is the reason that I tell...
i think it essentially substitute the PHASE switch with the possibility to switch A on or off.
to resume: you have the A output ALWAYS on and you can choose via midi to control the B output AND its phase.
correct mike?
thanks for the answer, about the behringer mixer i would like to go to something more high end...not that i like throwing my money away but never ever got happy of behringer stuff...my bad! i would have A LOT more money in my pocket now
If i find out a mixer i need i planned on...
Hello folks!
i'm planning to run a mark IV and a uberschall in stereo.
i would like to use both effects loop with my timefactor (which can be run in stereo).
and i need a line mixer that will work with this set up, i need two different mix controls since i want to have in the uberschall...
i live in Italy, and i'm actually way nearer the center of catholicism than anyone here i think....(the vatican is in Rome)
based on my experience the far you get the more the christian religion gets distorted....
NEVER EVER had any experience here of people saying you have to be saved or that's...
