The micro cortex is better in my opinion, but the stomp is cool. Had both at the same time for a while. The capture tech and online library made for better core amp tones.

I think preamp modeling is pretty much “there”, as is cab modeling when recording to a DAW. Playing the whole chain (preamp, power amp, cab) in the room is still a problem, which is why your clip sounds so kickass: it’s going into the recto power amp and cab. Modelers with the cab turned off...

You can use the fryette powered off to be a load and route to the daw.

I’ve got a bulldog model they make. Not sold 100% on the pickups but the guitar plays amazingly. They’re consistently too in my experience. Small enough brand that every one they send out has “it”.
