He's pretty amazing. I like him more in the context of Black Country Communion, but I did see him live and he puts on a great show. The cat can flat out PLAY.

I have tickets for his show in Austin, TX this month. I'm looking forward to seeing him. I had a meet and greet the last time I went to his show. He is a pretty humble guy and puts on a great show.

Absolutely love and respect JB. Don't understand why many feel he is aloof and conceited- guess just part of living under the internet microscope. He does tend to over-market himself, but I think that's what it takes nowadays and I don't ding him for it.
He's a rare talent where I don't really care for his studio albums - just not my cup of tea. I prefer hard rock/metal. But I can watch and listen to his live stuff all day. Also, the rare dude that blew up as a youngster, fell off the map, and then put the time and effort to claw his way back. You can't help but admire the sheer work he puts into all of this, and he's charted a path where he's fully in charge of everything he does. Amazing. Ultimately, he's a gear geek just like us, and seems genuinely willing to share anything he knows that may help others out.

I've chatted with Joe at the Orange County Guitar Show, but never seen him play live. I will be catching a show of his one of these days. Mad respect to a guy who can charge what he does for tix, fill venues and has no airplay, hit songs or album sales. Marketing genius there.

I've been to countless concerts starting with Chubby Checker when I was 5 years old. That's the first time it's ever happened to me.
