Yes, I love your wizard demos, but with these speakers it's a great match with the SLO

Of the amps you have used with these speakers, is there any that you preferred as the SLO sounds the best to me

And that's my point, there are just a few clips out there. Very little reviews and compared to other Friedman amps very little you tube clips

I'm struggling to find much info on this amp Any users, past/present with any info on this amp

I've had a shiva anniversary and it's a great high gainer but not metal

Very little on this amp, but what is out there is that it a single channel style amp. My, questions At highest gain setting, what is the voicing gain level like. Is it BE style, DS style. More/less gain than a BE (which is my reference amp)? It also looks like it doesn't particularly do...

The SLO sounds meatier and more together. Boogie sounds good but more spitier (is that a word) than the more clarity I hear in the SLO

Thanks for all your help guys. Turns out it does have Deyoung so general mistake from the seller. Unfortunately, I found out today that the mo doesn't have a back with it (and I'm in the UK) so seems to big a risk as I'd be gigging it and don't fancy exposed valves whilst transporting

Hi, I've been offered an early 2000 Soldano SLO. The owner states it's loaded with mercury magnetic transformers but I thought the SLO came with Deyoung and all other Soldano range was mercury. Or am I misinformed?

So, I stupidly sold my 2014 BE...but ended up buying a SS100 with money :) Anyway, I now have some fund for a 2nd Friedman. I was of the understanding that there was an overall voicing change, however the UK shop I spoke to said the amp is the same as my old one just a 3 way gain structure...

Other than cosmetics, are there any constructional differences, and if so does this impact on a difference in sound?

I thought the SS clean channel has treble middle and bass controls. It looks like yours has treble and bass only. Is there a reason for this? Looks great though
